WHO SHOULD TAKE ADETS?

Only those who have been assigned ADETS hours can register using this event form;  please sign-up for the 16 hour Prime for Life class if you have short-term or long-term hours. You may also contact us at 828-321-8022 to enroll.

ADETS stands for Alcohol and Drug Education Traffic School. North Carolina uses nationally renowned Prime "For Life" curriculum - originally designed to engage college students & young people with alcohol or drug related charges.

Classes are prevention-oriented and geared toward those who do not otherwise meet criteria for substance use disorders, as determined by an assessment.

Additional qualifications for ADETS:

BAC under .15

No refusal of breathalyzer

No prior convictions
