WHO SHOULD TAKE ADETS?
Only those who have been assigned ADETS hours can register for this course. Â This event form is NOT intended for the Pilot Program. Â Contact us at 828-719-2573 to see about taking ADETS as part of a Short-Term / Long-Term Pilot Program.
ADETS stands for Alcohol and Drug Education Traffic School. North Carolina uses nationally renowned Prime "For Life" curriculum - originally designed to engage college students & young people with alcohol or drug related charges.
Classes are prevention-oriented and geared toward those who do not otherwise meet criteria for substance use disorders, as determined by an assessment.
Additional qualifications for ADETS:
BAC under .15
No refusal of breathalyzer
No prior convictions
